Mini Chinese takeout boxes handmade by Trystan's mom, Thomas' mom, Trystan's mom's friend Penny, plus Trystan and Thomas. It took one long eight-hour day to make all 100 boxes, and then Trystan's mom spent more time filling the boxes later!

The boxes were made of a rich burgundy marble cardstock from JC Paper (same paper as the table signs and camera tags). The box handles were made of narrow silver ribbon from Michaels and Hancock Fabrics. We used a box template that Trystan's mom had bought several copies of.

If we had the time and money, we would have gotten custom fortune cookies and mini-shortbreads (reflecting Trystan's Chinese and Thomas' Scottish heritages, respectively). But we took the easy way out -- Hershey's kisses and random romantic quotes printed on grey marble paper, all in a nest of white crinkled paper shreds.
