The Reception ~ Guestbook
guestbook signingWe got a big burgundy leather scrapbook album from Michaels (archival quality and all that). Trystan decorated the pages with significant quotes and photos of us, our families, and our friends. It's representative of both us as individuals and our relationship together.

Something that came in really handy when Trystan was making this was our Epson Stylus 740 color inkjet printer. We were able to scan old, yellowed, faded family photos, retouch them in PhotoShop, then print them out on photo paper. Our wedding guestbook has a few photographs from 20 or 30 years ago that look better than the originals because of this!

We asked people do more than just sign their names -- we had two of our wedding party (Scott and Kelly) encourage people to write something silly/memorable/etc. about love or us or our friendship with them or whatever. We even had a floofy plume pen, plus silver pens for the black pages, for people to use. Everyone seemed to enjoy looking through the book, and people wrote lots of touching and funny things in between the pictures.

At some point, Trystan will complete the book with actual wedding pictures and memorabilia. It will become our wedding album.
