The Reception ~ Photos
Our official photographer was Erica Conners, who took wonderfully charming candids. She roamed the reception, capturing funny, sentimental, silly, and serious moments on film (including lots of black and white).

We also got one Kodak disposable camera with a flash (from Costco) for each table, and added a tag that politely asked guests to take candid pictures during the reception, then leave the cameras with us. Trystan made tags for each camera out of burgundy marble cardstock (the same used for the favours and table signs), grey marble paper for the text, plus a little burgundy ribbon and hot glue.

The text read:

We'd love to see our wedding through your eyes!

Our wedding photographer will take pictures of our toasts, first dance, and cake cutting, but we also want pictures of you, other guests, and fun things going on at your table and on the dance floor.

Camera tips:

  • Be sure to use the flash.
  • Take close-up pictures, not pictures across the room.
  • Pass the camera to all the guests at the table.
  • Leave the camera on the table after the reception.

We'll put these pictures on our website at http://www.toreadors.com/wed/ and we'll be happy to send you copies.

The Corinthian Room was lit only by candles and the tiny white lights on the two palm trees, but we still got great pictures from Erica and some pretty decent ones from the disposable cameras too.
