Trystan's POV:
Then we went down to the lobby, which was jam-packed with people and food and drink. Everyone wanted a hug and a picture. It occurred to me that your wedding day is the closest most people come to living like a movie star -- everyone wants to see you, talk to you, hug you, touch you, take a picture with you. It's like a movie premiere, and you're the star, heady and dizzying.

There were so many people I hadn't seen for too long -- Metro friends, like Michael, who I used to go to coffee and discuss religions with everyday; Chad, who gives the best bear hugs; Gretta and Heather and Diane, who'd all been at my bachelorette party at Irina's; Cara and her boyfriend, among the late people I saw at the back of the ceremony room during the recessional.
